A Look at the New Silverado Lineup in Freer

November 18th, 2024 by

When shopping for a new truck in Freer, the Chevrolet Silverado has a few new tricks up its sleeve for 2025. Whether you’re shopping for a Silverado 1500 or a Heavy Duty pickup, there is a lot to be excited about.

What’s New on the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

For the 2025 model year, the Silverado 1500 is getting a few small updates. The refresh most drivers will see around Laredo is the new paint offerings: Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue. A trailer brake is now standard on the LT trim and higher. The Work Truck trim comes with cruise control as standard, making those long drives to the job site less stressful. The option to upgrade to 20-inch high gloss rims is available. The most significant change is adding a seven-speaker Bose sound system and front and rear parking sensors added to the Silverado ZR2 trim.

New for the 2025 Silverado EV

A year after its debut, the Silverado EV now offers an LT trim as a non-commercial entry-level trim. The dual motors make a maximum of 645 horsepower with a range of about 408 miles. The LT will feature a 17.7-inch infotainment screen and an 11-inch display for drivers. Great for drivers in Corpus Christi looking for an electric vehicle.

2025 Silverado Heavy Duty Updates

The news of parking sensors as standard on the ZR2 trim is great for many drivers of these big trucks around Alice, Texas. Parking sensors are now an option on lower trims also. The luxury High Country trim now has adaptive cruise control as standard. A Trail Boss Package can be added onto LT and LTZ trims, giving the Heavy Duty trucks more off-road chops.
